Griffin is a 4 -5 year old, neutered, 40 ish lb short haired border collie hound mix.
He has a very sweet, loving temperament. He does not have a dominant personality and gets along well with most other dogs, as he is the more submissive one. Griiffin enjoys other dogs' company and would do well in a home with another dog who was confident and okay with taking the lead.
Griffin LOVES his people and once he gets to know someone, he will want to curl up next to them and just be with them. He’s a big lap dog sweetheart. He knows basic commands, is potty trained, and very good at listening! He is smart and wants to please. He can be a little nervous around new people and needs time to warm up but is not aggressive.
He is fine with children but would do best in a home with age 5+. He is not an incessant barker and is not super high energy or hyper. He prefers just chilling most of the day in his comfy bed with some spurts of excitement when going outside or when his owners get home. He would be great for someone who wants a dog out of the crazy puppy phase and who you don’t have to worry about being destructive in your home.
